Howie was such a treasure to me. I looked forward to his newest video he put out. His calm spirit and wisdom gave me a sense of peace. Many times, he would put out a video and it would be about something I just happened to be dealing with, and his insight would help get my mind back on track.

I miss Howie's sweet smile, stories and singing 😊 He could always lift my spirits ! You my sweet friend have continued this ,with much grace and poise....

When I was 5 years old (48 years ago) we did a Christmas play at church. And one of my lines in the play(I was an angel) was "And a child shall lead the way." That was the reason that I clicked on your video.

Dear Mrs. Josie I'm going to give you a little background on my self. I'm m a 67 year old Christian woman whose husband went to be with the Lord 10 years ago. Not a minute goes by that I don't think of him. We were married 43 years an have 3 sons. I married at 14 yrs old but I had a good husband. I do not understand how anyone can be mean to you. You have such a sweet loving nature and I'm always happy to see you pop up on my feed. I unfortunately did not watch your husband's videos but I'm sure they are fantastic.please just keep being yourself, it is obvious that your are a BEAUTIFUL child of God. Josie, I have a question for you. What answers can be given to a 5 year old child who was taken from an abusive home about a year ago and says he talks to God but it feels scary and spooky because he never sees God? Thank you for your time and wisdom.

Know that your faithful followers love you to pieces. Any negative comments are not welcome here on this channel. The love for you truly ourweighs any negative attitudes, and is easily bypassed. Josie, we truly enjoy listening to the older videos that Howie made. He was so spot on with so much he related, and it is still relevant!! Please delete these people who have negative, unkind comments. The demons are walking around, stirring up trouble. The Bible does remind us that the roaring, toothless lions look to seek and destroy. This is the time for our full armor of God!

I used to watch Howies porch talk all the time. He was a good man. Very wise. He will continue to have a long life with his saviour and all his loved ones who went before him. Have a great evening.

Grasshoppers are bad here too

My tomatoes are full of blister beetles! They strip leaves just like hornworms! They're horrible! Just down the highway from you.

Prices are not going down in Virginia. I shop the clearance section at the grocery store and have found canned goods with good dates for the food pantry at our church. I've also found meats marked down before the best buy date. It really helps my food budget, especially when I serve veggies from our garden.

Prices sky high in Pa. Even the cheap stores are high. Social security only goes so far…I pray for families. Our boys were never full growing up and thier friends were the same. I could not imagine raising a family now with prices.

Hornworms are bad here in Georgia this year. GO OUTSIDE AT NOGHT AND SHINE A FLASHLIGHT IN THE PLANTS. You should be able to see hornworms.

Does Oklahoma not have a summer lunch program for the kids? In my state, the kids 1- 18 years of age get free lunch All summer. They send snacks home and food home for weekends and school breaks throughout the school year to help with kids that don’t have enough food.

Here's a good example of political compromise. Back when Bill Clinton was president, he did compromise with the Republicans Re: welfare recipients. Instead of ongoing welfare payments to families that kept having baby after baby, and expected the government to support them, the government said after 2 children you will not receive more money. Instead, they offered welfare recipients free education in various trades, so they could get a job and support their family, and put the responsibility back on the adult to think before you bring another child into this world. Tax payer dollars were being spent on these families who did not take responsibilities seriously. We don't see these kinds of compromises in our government anymore. Very sad. I will say this, at this time we are in with all this division, one better educate themselves with the policies and agendas of the candidates before you vote. Who makes more sense, and who's values and morals align with Biblical laws. I will be voting for Trump, and I say that proudly, and with no remorse. ❤ and peace to all ~
